Stickerradar Account & Data Deletion
You can delete your Stickerradar account and personal data at any time. This page explains how, what is deleted, and what (if anything) we must keep.
How to delete your account
In the app (recommended):
- Open Profile.
- Tap the ⋯ menu, then Delete account.
- Type your @handle to confirm.
- Your account and all associated data are deleted immediately and permanently. This is irreversible — there is no grace period, and the account cannot be restored.
By email: if you cannot access the app, email contact@stickerradar.app from the address associated with your account (or include your @handle) and ask us to delete your account. We may take reasonable steps to verify your identity before acting, and will complete the erasure without undue delay.
What gets deleted
When you delete your account we immediately and irreversibly erase the personal data tied to it, including:
- your authentication record and sign-in identifier;
- your public profile (@handle and name);
- your friends, friend requests, group/Radar memberships and invites, and blocks;
- your sticker inventory and offered spares;
- your pending and reserved trade requests; and
- your push-notification tokens.
Your @handle is released and may become available to other users.
What we may keep, and why
A small amount of data may be retained where the law requires or to protect the Service:
- Purchase records required by Austrian tax and commercial law — retained in the records of Apple/Google and, where applicable, ours, for up to 7 years. (Purchases are tied to your store account, not just your Stickerradar account.)
- Completed trades are kept as a record of a trade that happened, without your profile or @handle — once those are deleted, the remaining identifier no longer identifies you.
- Safety and abuse records (for example a record that an account was banned for serious abuse) where needed to keep other users safe and meet legal obligations.
- Aggregated or anonymised data that no longer identifies you.
How long it takes
In-app deletion is immediate and irreversible — your account and personal data are erased the moment you confirm. Residual copies held by our sub-processors (see the Privacy Policy) and in routine backups are purged on their normal rotation, within 30 days. Email requests are completed without undue delay.
A note on in-person trades
Stickerradar trades are completed between users in person. Deleting your account removes your data from the Service but cannot undo trades that already happened in the real world.
